Hi everyone,

I am unable to delete the inventory, I have cleared everything from the inventory and ran inventory clean-up as well, and still, the location is not deleted.

Am I missing out on anything?

Thanks in advance

Maybe you can use the hide function if it is obsolete:

Hi @Hashmit

can you share the error message, please?

Maybe it is connected to another object.

Hi @Hashmit,

Cleanup of Inventory job not meant/can’t be used to Delete Inventory Locations.

When you run the Cleanup of Inventory job, only the Stock Records (Inventory Part in Stock rows) having Zero Quantity getting deleted (Provided that the Cleanup Conditions you specify when running the Job are met).

Normally, system does not allow the Deletion of Inventory Locations if it is used elsewhere in the Application (Try Deleting the Inventory Location form Inventory Locations screen itself. If it is used/connected to other objects, you’ll see an error). Hope this clarifies your doubts. Please let us know if you need further assistance on this.

Generally, if it is connected to other objects (like I’ve posted), you can’t delete it anymore.

You can lock the location down so it can’t be used, but most likely if it is tied to any other object or transaction, you can’t delete it.
