Greetings, 

I’m working on a ETM Channel trying to take a list of events that are sitting at Pending Close and move them to Close. I’m getting this error:

I’ve checked the Action Type (Close*), don’t see anything that would be needed changed.  I checked the user that is “tagged” for this Action, it has two privilege groups.  Checking the privilege groups, both have the “Take Closure Action on Pending Closed Events (Events assigned to)”, which is set to Any.

 

Anyone have ideas of what I’m missing or permissions need to be updated?

It might also be worth checking:

  • Modify Action Date (events assigned to)
  • Modify Action Details (Events assigned to)
  • Take State Action (Incidents, Problem & tasks assigned to)
  • Take State Action (RFCs & Service Requests assigned to)

One of those might be causing the issue - especially if you are using ETM to import those details. 

One way to check would be to log in as this “user” and check whether you can resolve off an event manually, if not, amend the permissions till you can, then retry ETM.
