IFS assyst 25R1 SU2 – Mobile App Not Working

Hello,

We are currently running IFS assyst 25R1 SU2 (On-Premise) and the web access is working perfectly.

Environment details:

  • On-Prem deployment

  • Authentication method: SAML

  • Mobile device is domain-joined

  • Access via mobile browser (Safari/Chrome on iPhone/iPad) → Working fine

  • Access via desktop browser → Working fine

However, when using any of the available IFS apps from the Apple App Store, none of them are working. I tested all available IFS applications and none were able to connect successfully.

Important note:
From the same mobile device, I can access the assyst URL via browser without any issue (including SAML authentication). So connectivity, certificate, and authentication appear to be working correctly at browser level.

Questions:

  • Are the IFS mobile apps supported for 25R1 SU2 On-Prem environments?

  • Is there any limitation when using SAML authentication?

  • Does the mobile app require a specific REST endpoint, public URL, or additional configuration?

  • Are there known issues with domain-joined iOS devices?

Please advise if there are specific prerequisites or compatibility considerations.

Kind regards,
Manaf

Hello,

I have tested both available mobile applications, and both of them return the message “Unable to reach server” when attempting to connect to our assyst URL.

However, using the same device and the same network, I can successfully access the exact same URL through the mobile browser (Safari/Chrome), and the system works normally with SAML authentication.

This suggests that the URL itself is reachable, but the mobile applications are unable to establish the connection.

Could you please advise what might be causing the app to fail while the browser works correctly?
