How do you limit an action to just 1 specific service department and make the action hidden to everyone else?

Assyst version 10, sp 7.5

Hi,

Can anyone advise how to limit an action such as “Major incident” to just one group/service department to see and select for them, whilst making the action hidden to every other group/SD?

Many Thanks.

You can define that on the SVD form per the wiki:

https://wiki.axiossystems.com/assyst10SP75Wiki/index.php/Service_Department_(SVD)_Form

Note: If no Action Type are selected then all Action Type are available, however if only one Action Type is selected then the Service Department will be limited to only that Action Type.

I don’t believe you can do a bulk action modification for all or multiple SVDs given the above logic.

Possibly could import these actions into each SVD using the MDW, but seems an awful lot of work just to be able to limit one action type.

Hi Zak,

Just to clarify you’re asking this in the IFS assyst product area. I can’t help notice that a lot of the tags you use relate to other IFS products.

If you’re using IFS assyst then the information provide above from @moconnor1 is spot on (thanks Mitch).

If you’re not using IFS assyst then you’ll be able to get assistance from our colleagues by posting your question in the product area that matches the product you’re using.

Cheers,
Robert
