Hello,

what does the zoom function “Permits” do in the form “Work Task Template”?

It never provides any information about permits, even if permit is connected to Work Order an Work Task Template is used in that Work Order.

What connected between Permit and Work Task Template should exist to see permits via zoom function Permits?

Hi @Lina Menciene

In this window for the permit connected, you can add Permit Types and you can chose whether it’s generated or not.

If this option is enabled a Permit will be generated and connected to a work order when one is generated from the PM action. If you entered an Isolation identity an Isolation Order will also be created and linked to the Permit.

Enter different kinds of permits that you want to use. Examples of permit types are general safety measures and safety regulations. The permit is used to ensure that certain regulations or instructions are followed and/or that there is a manager’s approval before one work order, or a group of work orders are executed. You can connect one or more attributes to the permit type to describe what safety regulations must be followed, etc.

And, from this window we are directed to Attributes for Permit type window and in their we can add Attributes to the defined permit type.

Hope this helps!

Best Regards,
Roshan

Thank you so much, Roshan Madusanka!!!!!😀

Hello,

one more question:

what should be granted to the user to have possibility to connect permit types in Work Task Template? I added all possible permissions, and still do not see “plus” sign in permit type connection window in Work Task Template:

But in above provided answer I see that “plus” sign.

Already found:)

Work task template should be in status Preliminary:)

Maybe somebody knows what should be revoked in permission set not to be able to register permit type on Work Task Template?

I revoked this one in projection WorkTaskTemplateHandling, but still can add permit types for work task template.

What should be done in the permissions even not to be possible to execute function Permits in Work Task Template?

What should be revoked to receive the message that user is not granted to execute this function?
