Work Order Planning (Gant): Earliest Start and Latest Finish

Hello,

In Work Order Planning (Gant) form there is identification line for Work Order “Earliest Start” and “Latest Finish”: the green line:

I can move the “Latest Finish” manually:

But “Latest Start” is not possible to move manually. Why?

Hi @Lina Menciene ,

Please check the below on why “Earliest Start” Might Not Be Movable,

If the activity has actual start dates, the system locks the early start to match the actuals.
If the activity is part of a dependency chain, its earliest start is determined by the finish of its predecessor.
Scheduling direction (forward or backward) and constraint types also influence whether the early start can be adjusted manually.
