We have create a Work Task for a serial object with supllier warranty.
On the serial Object I have connected the Supplier Warranty and aslo on the Master Part but on that you can't connect a supplier.
On the Work Task - Object Information , there is the line with Warrant Information but is it needed that a supplier is available to receive Supplier Warranty, see screenshot.

Did you create a purchase part for the master part and supplier for the purchase part is same as in the serial object?

No, I didn't create a purchase part only a master part and use this as a serial object.

You can connect supplier to a serial object through the part information group in the general tab.
Could you check whether that solves the issue for you?
Additional suppliers can be defined on the serial object through parties tab as well.

I think I misunderstood the question above 
. Your problem is more to do with when you apply the supplier warranty on the work task, it doesn't show the relevant supplier in the object information right?
I tried this in the latest IFS Cloud version and ran into the same issue. As
