Warranty information not applicable to complex assembly WOs

Hi Al,

In Complex assembly Work Order page general tab, the flags Customer Warranty, Supplier Warranty and Repair Work Order are not applicable in this module. In the tab Customer Order, the warranty type id and Warranty WO flags are not applicable too. Can anybody tell me the purpose of showing those fields in the COMPLEX ASSEMBLY WO window?

 

 

Impact - People thing warranty management in enabled in CAMRO.

Hi Nipun.

 

As you correctly point out, these fields serve no purpose in the Complex Assembly MRO flow. This is noted for future releases, where we will remove these fields from the CAMRO WO client.

Thanks a lot for the response. Customer has reported an issue to the support regarding this issue. Will it be ok to report the issue to RnD from that Case?

Please go ahead and report this as a support issue. Note however there are no guarantees we will correct in Support. If we don't correct in Support, we anyway have a formal link to correct this in a future release.
