Hi All,

When I attach a cost to a child object via a WO, the costs are correctly displayed on the child object page but there are no related costs displayes on the parent object page. Is that a normal process?

Thank to all your advices

Hi @Andryis ,
Yes this is the same behavior observed on APP10 latest reference environment and in IFSCLOUD (22R2). Please check if Equipment Object Cost/Revenue Analysis window can be used for your requirement. There is a column called ‘Structure cost’ which shows the total cost of child objects.

Thanks & Best Regards,

Nethmini

@Nethmini Kosvinna, thank you.

Do you think I could/should send a case to IFS?

We are on UPD16 version. Will the next versions be updgraded?

Thanks a lot

Andry

Hi @Andryis

Yes this is the intended/normal process of the Object Cost/Year. It shows the costs of that particular object( Object is the Actual object in the work tasks). As Nethmini pointed out you have to use the Equipment Object Cost/Revenue Analysis page to view the costs and revenues of the entire structure

Asitha

@Andryis , Please don’t send a case as this is the functionality. 😊

Thanks,

Nethmini

Sorry for squeezing in a question to this old thread. Does the structure cost update if there is a change in the structure? Ex. Will the parent object’s structure cost increase if a new child is added? I believe it won’t, but is there a way to make it dynamically reflect the change on the structure’s cost/rev on the parent level? TIA
