Hi,

You can make the Tool/Facility ID ‘inactive” in Service and Maintenance\Basic Data\Tools and Facilities Basic Data > Connect Tools and Facilities tab.

Example:

  1. Create a work order.
  1. Now open Tool and Facilities tab and created new record.
  1. Check the list of values for Tool/Facility ID. Note that SPN-Spanner is available.

  1. Now open Service and Maintenance\Basic Data\Tools and Facilities Basic Data > Connect Tools and Facilities tab.
  1. Mark this inactive using the right click menu. (Select the line with exact tool ID, site and maintenance organization).

  1. Now check again in the work order tool and facilities tab. Now the SPN-Spanner is removed from the list.

  1. If you try to type it manually and save, error will be raised.

  1. If you need, you can enter the Tool/Facility Type that SPN belongs. But still the ID will not be displayed so it cannot be used.

Hope this helps.
