Regards,

Manavi.

Hi @Manavi Weerarathne ,

I have seen a similar bug (Bug ID:156899-Depreciation Planning Data Shows Values from Replaced Proposals) with test steps to create a depreciation forecast. Perhaps, this might help you.

The issue can be recreated in Regional TEST CMB App10
Login: alain/alain
Company: 10
Business Plan: 2021
Planning Unit: D1

1. Create a fixed asset in planned status – with planned acquisition say 2021 P6 of value 8,000
2. Create a depreciation plan (depreciation plan ID:8 ) for this and generate postings.
3. Create a business planning unit.
4. Transfer the postings to the business planning unit.
5. Record the planning transactions- notice how the acquisition and depreciation start in P6
6. Go back to your fixed asset and bring forward the planned acquisition date to an earlier period say 2021 P5 also change the acquisition value (E.g: 10,000).
7. Create a new depreciation plan (depreciation plan ID 9) and generate the postings.  Ensure the old depreciation plan is status Replaced.
8. Transfer the postings to the business planning unit.
9. Go to the planning transactions and check how the new acquisition value appears in P5 but the old acquisition value in remains in P6, it should have been replaced. The Planning Entry > Planning > Balances & Planning Entry > Planning > Transactions will show the issue clearly.

Cheers,
