I’m currently working on a project for a customer in the Oil & Gas industry.
They collaborate with subcontractors and assign work orders to external companies. These external technicians are expected to execute the work orders just like internal technicians — including recording measurements, completing checklists, and so on.
At the moment, the discussion is leaning toward not sending work orders to the mobile devices of external technicians. Instead, the intention is to use the B2B Portal both for dispatching and for executing the work orders. However, based on my experience, the B2B Portal does not support performing measurements on objects or completing checklists.
Has anyone implemented a solution or workaround for this scenario? Any recommendations or best practices on how to address this would be greatly appreciated.
