When saving in window Acquire lease asset, I get a message saying “Lease liability balance in contract currency cannot be a negative value”.
All other values look correct. What do I have to change, for manage to save?

You need to change the Contract Currency to positive number. When you do don’t be surprised if you get same error for Accounting Currency.
I understand, but the problem is that I am not allowed to change it.
It does change to positive, if I set “Termination Date” to 2023-05-31, but then all other values will be wrong.

Check if the Contract value, payment/month and intrest is correct. You can do so in Lease Contract Balance. When you find the issue, which in this case is the intrest. Undo the leasing proposal for this specific contract until you’ve undone the proposals that are wrong (working your way from present proposal back, one at a time). The redo all proposal until current period.
