Hello Community,!

We are currently operating on IFS Applications 8 and rely on Harvest for support and maintenance. As per the recent communication from IFS, we understand that:

  • IFS Applications 8 has been in Restricted Support since March 24, 2017
  • It is scheduled for retirement on March 27, 2026, after which support services will be discontinued
  • The Citrix Build Place for IFS 8 will also be retired on the same date, and access will be terminated

Given this, we are seeking guidance and community input on the following:

  1. If Harvest is shut down, what are the available options to continue supporting IFS Applications 8 until its retirement?
  2. Are there any alternative tools or strategies that can help us maintain our environment and manage support issues independently?
  3. Is there any possibility to retain access to Harvest for our organization beyond the general shutdown?
  4. What steps are others taking to prepare for this transition, and are there any interim solutions that have worked well?

We are actively evaluating our upgrade path to IFS Cloud, but in the meantime, ensuring stable support for our current setup is critical. Any insights, experiences, or recommendations from the community would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance!

Best regards
