ISSUE / QUESTION:  Getting this error upon launch. Need help.
Exception Info ==> 0
This implementation is not part of the Windows Platform FIPS validated cryptographic algorithms.

ENVIRONMENT:  Alliance product

RESOLUTION / ANSWER:

This is due to security settings for Federal Information Processing Systems (FIPS).

This will need to be fixed by your IT professional using the following steps:

1.       Go to secpol.msc
2.       Under Local Policies, click “Security Options”
3.       Navigate to the Policy “System cryptography: Use FIPS compliant algorithms for encryption, hashing, and signing”
4.       Open the policy and set it to disabled.

You can learn more about FIPS compliance/security via Google Chrome.

This applies to older versions of the Astea Browser.  I believe FIPS compatibility was added in the V14 browser and is also not a problem in V15.3 browser version.
