If we now try to do any changes to a product that has Serialization = Always we get the following error when trying to do any changes to the product:

After review, it appears there is a change made to validation where this was working in your original v12.5 but no longer in v15.2 HF1 using the same data.
I am checking with R&D to find out more about the nature of that change and if there are options to allow this UOM type again or not.
