I have had an issue raised by an end user. We have a warehouse that is used to receive return orders.
When they are inspecting these return orders, they note down damaged goods. When receiving the IMO, the warehouse staff manually receive these lines into a separate bin for bad return goods.

What then happens is that the next time a product that was previously receipted into a bad bin is received again, it automatically allocates to the last used bin. This is occasionally not caught, which causes problems.

Is there any way to disable this behaviour of automatically changing the default bin on receipt?

Hi Chris, unfortnately the bin default in receiving is coded to get the last transaction of the same product, warehouse and inventory type.

There is no setting for preventing it.
