If you are not aware which Employees Security - Portal to choose to grant access to the user for specific modules, there is an Excel document delivered with the Alliance called Astea Alliance Feature Matrix V15.0.xls. I have attached the one which comes with Alliance 15.3.
Within this document, there is a worksheet labeled Product Module Mapping. In row 2, you will see the Products (Portals in Employees Security) and using this to cross reference the module names in column A, you should be able to determine in which portal the module is used. A screenshot snippet is below.
