With V15 SP2, in the new the browser version, most of the main module search screens (QBE’s) now have a quick search field that allows the user to enter a value to be searched across many different fields.
This makes the search much easier and more efficient , you don’t have to find the fields you want to search by on the QBE, and let’s admit it, some of these QBEs have so many fields that it becomes a challenge to find what you are looking for…
The new quick search comes with a yellow background that makes it easy to see, it’s the first QBE field and in most cases this is the only field you will need, leaving your screen clean & efficient.
A red tool tip will show you what fields will be searched when you enter a value. Over time, as more feedback will be collected the list of fields can be refined and extended.
