After the installation of HF29 over HF24  we are getting below error for GIS service.

Astea Environment:
Logged user:
Instance Name: Astea.Gis.Service
Profile Name: Generic

error while trying to initiate travel manager. ready state=Ready. service has been stopped.

Do we need to update anything in the configuration manager in profile?

Hi Firdosh,

This should be logged as a support ticket but please do the following first and inform via the ticket of the results.

  1. Did you try restarting the GIS service?
  2. Have you checked or followed this section in the HF29 release notes?

It is more than just synchronize possibly if this does not work, please read the whole section with other things to do including modification of the global.xml file which is described in that document.

Hi Firdosh,

Just to close the loop on this after you logged the ticket.  The issue we found on your environment was the global.xml was configured to use the IP address in the DSE ServerAddressType setting.

After this, restarting the DSE service and waiting longer, we were getting the green connection indicator.

Hello @Phil Seifert & IFS team,

Thank you so much for helping us resolve issue.
