When doing changes to the materials on service orders, we find this annoying behaviour: 

  1. Go to materials
  2. Find a material line that is needed and zoom in 
  3. Source it 
  4. Back-roder it (or allocate it) 
  5. Click Save 
  6. And you are taken to the Main - Service info tab - and not back to the Material tab. But most likely we want to edit another material line...

I have tested this on the Web Employee Portal on v15.4 and there after saving the back order after sourcing it, it remained on the materials page.  From my view, this is an issue and please log a ticket so we can address it.

 

 


Thanks for the tip, Phil. I find the same behaviour in the Web Employee Portal.

 

In v12.5 the focus stays on the tab that has been used even after Apply/Save. And since the back office staff spend quiet a lot of time allocating materials, they would of course prefer this to be carried over to 15
