Hello,

As we began applying the Release Update 24R2, we noticed that a new component, WRKTSK, has been introduced as part of this release. Several APIs (entities, utilities, and enumerations) have been moved from the existing WO component to WRKTSK.

We have customized approximately 30 APIs from this list, and now we need to uplift these APIs from WO to WRKTSK. Could you please advise on the best approach to carry out this task?

While using the Impact Analyzer tool, we noticed that the results don't provide sufficient comparison details (screenshot attached for reference).

Additionally, we are unable to find a way to download all the core files of 24R2 to analyze how the WRKTSK files have impacted our customizations.

Has anybody experienced similiar issues?

Any help would be greatly appriciated.

@Mathias Dahl  Do you have any suggestions on this if you have encountered same with any of your upgrade, can you please guide us or if you know someone who can provide a guidance on same can you please tag?

Thanks for the support.

Regards,

Gaurav

@MAKU Hi I have seen your post, and though tagging you here, can you see if you can help.

Would you be able to let us know if any guidance have been provided on this in any of the IFS documentation?

Regards,

Gaurav

Update analyzer is owned by ALE team. Please contact Vindya Vithana

@Vindya

Hi,

Since Update Analyzer tool does not have capabilities like a language parser it cannot identify the fact that model is moved. So it is identified as the corresponding core file is missing in the target.

If you have already applied the 24R2 release at least to the customer baseline repository you can download the core code as a zip file using the “IFS Cloud Core Code” button Infront of customer baseline repository url. But if you haven’t applied it yet to the customer baseline repository there is no place in the ALE portal to download the 24R2 core code. I am not aware whether that is possible from somewhere else.

 Best Regards,

Vindhya

Hi @hamalk  and @Vindhya Thanks for your responses, we have received same response from another team that we can download the core files from Customer baseline repository. I was looking for suggestions as well what are the best practice to merge the customization done on old Component and new component, when old component is deleted from the solution.

Regards,

Gaurav
