Is it possible to connect a survey to either a serial object or a service object? If so, could someone show how?

IFS Cloud Survey on an object

You can link Maintenance Surveys to Objects, and answer them in mWO ad-hoc.
To do that, you need two things;
- A survey with Workflow Type = Object Information (don’t forget to Publish)

You need to link the Maintenance Survey in the EFORMS tab.

Looks very odd. Is your user linked to a person record?
Check in Application Base Setup / Enterprise / Person / Person
Which version of IFS Cloud is this?
