Hi, there was a question on the practice exam that I haven’t seen any reference to yet. Which was if IFS has order point planning and IFS has order up to planning. Where can I find the answer to this in the source material?

Hi,

IFS does support order point and order up to planning.

Each Inventory Part record has a Planning Method.  If you select Planning Method ‘B’ (order point) or Planning Method ‘C’ (order up to) you can then define the associated parameters.

Next, run the Create Order Proposals calculation and the system will create purchase requisitions or shop order requisitions to replenish the stock.

I hope that this helps.
