Supported Java Version for IFS 8 SP2

Hi,

Just to clarify what’s being requested; is this question about upgrading the java version bundled with the IFS Middleware server to a newer version? If yes, the most suitable approach would be to get the latest Java version as a delivery from IFS.

Yes you are correct. We wanted to upgrade the java version bundled with Middleware. Do you have information on what latest is being supported or we should ask IFS Support.

According to the information available to me, I do not see a product certification done for Java for the middleware server hence I can’t provide you the latest version supported. However, to obtain the latest Java version supported for IFS Middleware Server,  you may create a support ticket.
