Quick Report SQL Parameter - read only & label enhancements

Hello experts,

I have created a SQL quick report with a parameter that is called via a page command created in page designer. It is working as intended and I successfully pass the parameter and the report executes correctly with the right data. Super, happy camper!

But how do I make the following 2 improvements to the parameter box that is displayed below when the Quick Report is started:

1.Make the Parameter box ‘read only’ - so the value passed from the Page is non changeable

2.Apply a ‘pretty’ description rather than the technical field name for the parameter that is currently displayed

Thanks!

Hi Steve,

I do not think think your first requirement to make parameter read only field, however, second requirement is achievable.

You can get parameter name as you wish.

Refer below screenshot, where I kept my contract(Site) parameter name as ‘Plant Id’ and it is working perfectly fine.
