Could the field the Select Statement is entered into when adding a Custom Field PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE be a properly sized text editor?  It’s nigh on impossible to work with in this limited ‘ticker tape’ size.

Thank you!!

Hi @PRODQ,

Please feel free to create an Idea in Ideation for this as this is a very useful enhancement.

In the mean time, you could try changing the type of this field to “Markdown Editor” and see if that works.

  1. Simply open the Page Designer in Entity Configurations screen and keep expanding the All Pages section as shown below until you find “Impl Type Select Group”.

  1. Once you find “Impl Type Select Group”, click on it and scroll down to “IMPL TYPE SELECT GROUP” section and keep expanding as shown below. Then change the value of “Control” to “markdownEditor”
    1. Save this and publish.
    2. Now when you create a custom attribute, the field would look like this.

This will allow formatting options for the entered text as well, but better not use any of them.

Hope this helps!

Thanks, @Charith Epitawatta.  I did think I’d posted this as an “idea” but I’ll try again.

Your solution is absolute genius!  It worked.  Thank you so much.
