There was an incident where the DATA_SYNC_IN_SERV Queue Failed due to below error.

Error Text: The Repl Site Statistics object already exists.

During the investigations I have noticed that this was triggered from the below Scheduled Task. When inserting Data to REPL_SITE_STATISTICS_TAB used in Data Synchronization Status Window.

We have encountered more 1000 failed messages during a weekend, and it was the greatest number of times SERVE Queue got Failed at once.

The Customer is using APPS10 UPD9

Really apricate if anyone can share any feedback or any experience regarding this issue.

Your feedback is really appreciated.

Hi,

This error means, it is trying to insert site statistics which already exist in the satellite.

Could you please check are there any duplicate messages in the DATA_SYNC_IN_SERV queue.

That means finished application message with the same sender message id of the failed message.

If yes, we have introduced a new functional property in Data sync called ‘IGNORE_DUPLICATES’ and you need to set it to ON.

Best Regards,

Nadeesha

Hi Nadeesha,

Thank you for your response.:relaxed:

Yes, you were correct. There were duplicate messages with same sender id and I have set the parameter to ‘ON’ now.

Best Regards,

Nelusha
