Is there a way in IFS to spread planned hours over specific timeframes (monthly, etc.)? Our PM team has been asking, because currently the hours just sit in one bucket. I imagine this is within IFS’s capabilities, but we’re just not currently using this functionality.
The hours can be spread over the activitiys time span. From the project management navigator it can only be spread lineary for the preiod and analysed in the Resource Analysis.
If you want to spread by profile or with date range you need to run the Project Resource Forecast and do the spread there. The result can be explored in Resource Activity Load and Resource Activity Allocation load. The Resource forecast can also be connected to the project’s forecast and analysed in the Forecast Spread Details there.
