Serial Object can be created automatically in IFS/Equipment when the Sales Part is delivered on a Customer Order if the option ‘Create SM Object’ is marked on the sales part. In this case, the identity of the Serial Object is automatically created by concatenating the Part Number (that the Sales Part is connected to) and the Serial Number. Is there a way to change this behavior and define a specific format to have serial object ids?

+19Right now there is no direct support to change the default behavior. However, in my understanding a simple custom event would do the trick.
