Aurena Native Mobile App - Sync Part

Hi, 

How can configure to sync all the Inventory part to a Mobile user in Aurena Native apps?

Hi,

There is no option (TAS parameter) to send all parts into mobile in Aurena native. The parts which are connected via assortments to the user and parts in user connected warehouses and object spare parts where user has access to are sent to mobile.

Hi,

 

And to elaborate a bit more it has a cost to synch down all parts, if you are not using them. You want the synhronized time and also the volume of records to a minimum for each user/device, otherwise you can get into performance problems. I do not know how many parts you have and the business case you have and the need to have all parts. So what Sampath has written is what gets sycnhronized to a device.

Thanks for quick response Sampath & Johan.

All the Parts needed to be sync to the mobile for the below scenario: 

  1. Material requirement for a task is done mostly in Mobile based on actual being used during WO execution in Mobile
  2. Returns are planned in the Mobile.

In both the above scenario, No list of part available if the parts are not synced and in current customer data setup there is no specific list of part / spare part data is maintained at object level or in the Work Task template. 

Still working with Business to see how can this be filtered and limit the parts being synced to individual mobile users.

Hi Siva,

Some hints..

All the parts that are available in technician’s van should be avaible for him in the mobile app via the user connected to warehouses connection. Any part which is not common to have in the van can be configured as an assortment part.

For returns, even if the part is not avaible in mobile, tech can still enter the correct Part ID/ Serial No/ Etc, from mobile and transaction will be executed correctly in server provided that correct information is sent from mobile.
