We have a request from the business to be able to EXPORT many tables / search results. The issue we are running into is that if you give EXPORT access then you have to give IMPORT access also. We do not have to give everyone IMPORT. Is there a way to give most users the EXPORT ability but not IMPORT?

so far as i know its a small MPM which needs to be created. You need to create a spec and a LCS case.
The developer will create it for you.

How are you planning on exporting the data?
Are you using the IFS Excel Migration plug-in?
If a user has access to the customers screen they are able to export that data easily into Excel or CSV for example.

What is the IFS Excel Migration plug in? is this for standard export concept?

the excel plugin works for APPs only but not in FSM.
There is no option to split the import / export functionality in FSM.
In addition to this the export functionality is very poor and user unfriendly.
We aresolving this very often by a customization which i recommend to you.

the excel add-in doesn’t work at all for FSM. The add-in works for Apps only.
The customization for FSM which i did mentioned works on prem as well as on cloud
Also any idea what does the MPM do? Does it give the option to remove the additional features other than Export from FSM Table in Import/export Wizard?
Plus, Is there any way we can restrict the tables the use see as well?
