Import bank statement - Multiple banks

Forum|alt.badge.img+9

Hello,

For a company in IFS we have a few bank accounts, is it possible to do a bulk import of bank statements ?

The ideal would be to import at once the bank statement of all the banks for this particular company

Is it possible in IFS ?

Best regards

If the bank statement (MT940 or CAMT053) contains multiple bank accounts they are all imported at once. They were allocated to the company that matches the bank account defined in the External Payment Parameters/Company Identifier.

Depending on the format there are different ways for the import.

  1. MT940 the <Load File> function needs to be used (or a specific path and a fixed filename defined in the template)
  2. CAMT 053 file needs to be placed in specific folder

Kind regards

Hi @Abdessamad

generally, you can import bank statements in MT90 and CAMT format to IFS APPS10.

But only for creditors.

However you need to set up a lot of basic data to use it.

In IFS there are two flows in which you an upload the bank statements.

  1. AR/AP Reconciliation - Via External Payment flow
  2. Cash Book Reconciliation - Via Standard Bank Reconciliations

The bank statements are uploaded with reference to the specific cash accounts. In the standard solution, you have to upload the statements one by one.
