There is a requirement to add a button in the Bad Debt Management window. After clicking it should create a txt file and it should download automatically. Any solution for this?

This is something similar to EU sales report exporting to txt from automatic tax proposal. Automatic tax proposal does this automatically by design.
We had the same request for another window and made developed. I don't think there is a standard solution for this.
Would something like this be possible?
(for 23R1)
- Add a button
- Create a workflow
- trigger the workflow from the button
- Use an external REST action to call for example a Microsoft flow (triggered throught the rest action)
- Microsoft flow runs, fetches data from IFS and creates a txt file.
- Drops the file on a sharepoint folder
- Add a link to
Very tedious but thats I think the only solution to trigger something like that.
