How was it possible the skip first row when transferring CSV-file with external file / voucher assistant? It was some setup in External file template, but can remember it. We are using Apps9.

Hi,

It always depend on your file template and columns. I think in your case you are missing the control string. Please see my setup below.

The header is skipped successfully.

Hope this helps..

Hi Maaret,

This can be done in the ‘External file Template Control’ window. RMB on the ‘Input File’ tab of the template and select ‘‘External file Template Control’

Hope this is how you did it before.

I have the same problem.  I need to tell IFS to ignore the first row of the CSV file.  I follow the directions above but still received an unpack error.  Row one is the header row to be ignored.

External file template:

What do I put in the external file template control for the control string?
