Hi,

Has anyone used SAP crystal reports server (not ifs crystal web service) to automate emailing of reports. I’m getting an error when running reports with IFS data. It doesn't seem to be connecting to the database. Any information is greatly appreciated.

Finally got this figured out.

Crystal 2016 will work on 32 bit.

Crystal 2020 (and server) require 64 bit.

I uninstalled the 32 bit drivers, and installed the 64 bit ones and it works perfectly. I can now schedule and email reports using IFS data.

Hi @mfrejik,

I wont be able to assist much here but very interested if you get this working.

Like CR itself you would need to have correct Oracle Client installed?

This link has more detail:

Do you get any error messages? Can you post more detail?

Cheers,

Pete

Do you have  a 32-bit ODBC connection on the server? The CRS software itself is 64-bit, but the part that runs Crystal is still 32-bit, so you have to have a 32-bit connection. You can find the 32-bit ODBC Administrator at C:Windows\syswow64\odbcad32.exe.
