Delivery Note for Customer Order of type "Purch Order Dir"

Forum|alt.badge.img+14

Hi all,

When we have a customer order of type “Purch Order Dir”, we would like our supplier to use a delivery note from us.

Is it possible to generate one in IFS?

Hi Hans,

To print a Delivery Note, a Delivery should trigger in IFS. If you need to simulate the Delivery as happening from a location owned by you I hope using “Purch Order Trans” and an internal Inventory Location should resolve the problem even if goods do not arrive there physically. It should not also affect your inventory valuation if you can make the deliveries immediately upon receipt.

It supports both Purchasing and issuing Delivery Notes and is there any specific reason why you cannot use Int Purch Trans for this purpose?

Only that “Purch Order Dir” is in the system and it is what we are actually during. We will try your solution and see how it goes.

Thanks.
