Hi

Is there a way to use Kanban or to scan and replenish expense parts? We have some spare parts that we do not want to have on stock but we would like to make it easy for the ones purchasing, so they could scan a barcode of the part and then the requisition /PO would be generated with a set order quantity (that could also be scanned from a barcode) and then the cost is booked to  expense and not added to stock value when received.

Would appreciate some ideas how to solve this in a good way in IFS.

Regards,

Marika

We have a page setup on a Sharepoint site that allows scanning from any terminal to the screen, then sending from that page sends a call to IFS to create a purchase requisition automatically.  It did require a custom API to do the work.  Ours is setup for inventory parts and requires a Site, Part Number and user combination to raise the requisition, but I’m sure a similar arrangement could be created for no-part requisitions for expense parts.
