Issue operation material with simplified material check on shop order

Forum|alt.badge.img+14

Hi all,

When we issue material to a shop order, we always use “simplified material check”. The problem is that if we have not issued more material than the required qty, we cannot approve the operation:

The system will try to backflush the remaining qty and the Simplified Material Checkbox is disabled.

How do we solve this?

If you’re on App10 you can set the structure/material line with Reserve/Issue Method = Manual. That will allow you to report the operation which to the material line is connected without having issued the full quantity. System will just require you to have issued something of this component. So it is basically like the simplified material check, but on a material line level.

Thanks @Björn Hultgren ,

We have not allocated materials to operations before. We just started doing it last week, because it is mandatory when using operation blocks in apps10.

The problem will then be solved.
