Shop Order Work Guideline Signoff - Security Checkpoint

In IFS Cloud 22R2, we can enable and successfully use the security checkpoint when performing signoff of shop order work guidelines, if we use the Shop Order Work Guidelines client. However, the same operation will fail in Shop Floor Workbench (on the tab for work guidelines under the dispatch list). How can we find further information about this limitation? What we want to know is exactly why it does it not work in one client but not in the other? And will it be fixed and when?

Hi Kenneth,

I tried this in most recent version of IFS Cloud.

Activated security checkpoint for subtask sign off as below:

Credential Required dialog appears as expected when signing off the subtask from the Guidelines tab on Shop Floor Workbench page:

Also works when signing off the subtask from the Operation Guide also available from Shop Floor Workbench page (recommended)

Thanks for the quick answer. OK, so let’s assume this will be fixed with our upcoming upgrade to 23R1, then. We’ll verify with one of those environments.

@Kenneth Pettersson CGI If the same setup is not working in 22R2 you can of course create a support ticket to have this corrected.

Update: we verified that it works in 23R1 but it also “started to work” mysteriously also in 22R2, so the reason for the error we had with the standard functionality is unknown. However, we have problems with a similar custom command that seem to persist. Does anybody know if security checkpoint is supposed to work with bulk commands (select multiple rows) or only with single?
