I have a user that would like to set up a pivot table in Excel and refresh the data from an IAL view. Is there a tool from IFS that can do this?

The IFS Business Reporter tool would be ideal for this. You could create a Quick Information Source from the IAL. You could have a sheet which holds the data from the Information Source and a second sheet for the Pivot Table in your report design. However depending on the requirement, a Pivot Table may not be necessary as you could use repeaters instead
