can anyone explain why the manufacturing time and expected lead time would be difference as below?
i have read the HELP tabs description for both but still don't actually understand the difference. Can anyone help?

So the Expected Lead Time could be higher than manufacturing lead time. It can also be calculated using the lead time calculations Calculate Purchase Lead Time found in IFS/Purchasing, and Cumulative Lead Time Calculation, Lead Time Calculation, and Change Cumulative Lead Time found in IFS/Manufacturing Standards.

In manufacturing lead time it is the time taken to manufacture the part where as in purchasing lead time, it is the time taken to purchase the part in to inventory.
Expected lead time is the time taken for the part to be in the inventory which could be manufactured or purchased.
The lead time calculation can be done manually or as a background job to update the field on a regular basis. However, both Manufacturing and Purchase lead times must also be calculated in real time or as a background job in order to do so.
