
IFS Service CollABorative - Think Tank Session - 2023 Trends, Predictions and Topics of Interest

House Keeping
Goals of the CollABoratives:
- Help our customers get closer to IFS and closer to one another; share ideas, inspiration and best practices; build collective knowledge
- Centered around area of innovation to allow for cross-industry and geographically diverse insights
- Enable feedback loop
Format:
- Think Tank – Session to discuss business topics (trends and challenges)
- Tech Talks – Session where IFS will bring an IFS Stakeholder such as from R&D, Customer Experience, etc. Will be held once a quarter.
Do’s:
- Come ready to engage and participate
- Camera on if possible
- Allow others to share
- Be respectful of others contributions and opinions
- Share your name, company before speaking (until we get to know one another)
Don’ts:
- Not use these sessions to talk about company specific issues. Please reach out to us separately if this is required.
If you have joined more than one CollABorative, we recommend finding out which CollABorative suits you best as some content may be repetitive and there may be other people within your organisation that would be a good fit for one of the other groups, however the decision is yours.

- Organisations will need to selectively increase cost reduction measures
- See wider experience in remote service
- Talent focus will shift from acquiring new talent to nurturing existing talent
- Service centered sustainability strategies will take shape
- The march toward outcomes continues
Additional predictions:
- From a Macroeconomic perspective and the impact of growth
- Focus on maximising productivity and minimizing resource cost rather than just direct cost reduction.

- Race towards outcomes based service
- Back to basics
- Labour issues, shortages in first level supervision
Topics of interest:
- Collected data from monitored devices and feeding that into engineering fixes. I.e. fixing at the source
- Robust continuous improvement plans and strategic plans
- How do we become more intelligent by leveraging data we are collecting and the tools in place
- KPI's / Key Metrix’s that other customers are focused on
- Making data actionable (by leveraging data to create better business intelligence) / Reverse engineering
- Balance between reaching benefits of improvements vs retention of our workforce
- Change Management
- Want to hear from people who are utilizing the software in a positive way and listening to best practices
- Want to hear from people who work with First Time Fix / How issues are resolved remotely to save money
- World of IFS Partners
- Self-help / Self-service / Pre on site
