In the Customer Order Line (COL), it’s possible to link Sales Parts to a “Superior SM Object ID.” With the correct setup, the serial structure of the related part is automatically created in the “Objects” database upon delivery.
We require a similar connection for Leads, Business Opportunity Headers, and Business Opportunity Lines to a “Superior SM Object ID.” Ideally, the “Superior SM Object ID” would transfer to the Business Opportunity when a Lead is converted or from Business Opportunity Lines to Customer Order Lines.
Are there any plans to enhance the Lead and Business Opportunity functionalities to support these features? This information is essential for tracking which production line (superior SM object) will be served by our equipment.
