To extract data from IFS, Is the use of ETL like Boomi prevent the use of other mode of Extraction( flat files extraction ) ? that is to say, if i use Boomi to extract data from IFS i cannot do so using flat file in the same time ?

With Apps 10 and IFS Cloud, the Boomi connector uses the standard IFS REST APIs to connector to the IFS environment. So, you’re not doing anything custom in IFS - just using their standard API. As such, it shouldn’t affect anything else you’re trying to do in parallel.
I’m curious though why you’d also want to extract flat files from IFS if you’re planning to use an iPaaS solution like Boomi?
