Question

Load per workcenter in pcs

Forum|alt.badge.img+6

Hello All,

to have a good overview I want to inform the planners about the load in pieces per workcenter per week. But I have not found a way to do this in IFS Cloud. Would this be a easy to do in a quick report or has IFS Cloud a functionality to do this? We only use MS scheduling.

I hope someone has a good idea on how to arrange this?

@koenders there’s the below screen but it doesn’t sum it up by week. So I guess it would quite easy to build a Quick Report on this view and group by week number.

Hi @koenders,

Have you tried using the Visual planning tools available in the Cloud ?

In the “Visual Shop Order Operations Planning” window you should be able to achieve this. It actually has a Gantt view of Shop Order Operations schedule.

I have filtered the window for a specific Work Center and a date rage. (use the magnifier icon)

Now, if you want to see the Week wise schedule then you can select the below option for that.

In the my example you can see the timeline in weeks (W5, W6, W7,..).

I have just colored the Shop Order Operations as per the producing part. Also, you can see that I have two resources (machines) for my selected Work Center, each showing the load separately.

If you want to see more data about these Shop Order Operations, specially the quantities (pieces in your case) then such can be seen the lower table of this window.

If you want to share this data with the planners or anyone then you can take a Excel export as well.

There is so many other filtering/configurations/etc. can be done in this window. 😊

Feel free to explore if you have not done it already.

Hello Tharindu,

thanks for extensive explanation. But our Cloud version does not have teh “Visual Shop Order Operations Planning” screen. Is that a module that needs to be bought seperately?

B'regards

Carlo

Hi @koenders,

This comes with “MFGVIZ” component.

Yes, if you don’t have this component already then you have to obtain it separately.
