Changes allowed in 'WON' status sales quotation lines

Forum|alt.badge.img+7

Hi Experts,

We can change the prices and qty of sales parts in ‘WON’ status sales quotation lines. How can we prevent this from happening? Is there any site level or system definition setting?

Business Impact: We used to create sales quotations from business opportunity lines. If a user can change the values in the WON quotation line, that will be represented in Business Opportunity. These will adversely affect the sales records of sales representatives.

Thanks!

@XitLakshM you could try and create a stop event on Sales Quotation and Sales Quotation Line when the status is Won.

See the attached document as an example on how to do this.

Hi @XitLakshM ,

As far as I am aware, the system does not have a setting to restrict this behaviour.
However, I found that the changes applied to ‘Won’ Sales Quotation line (ex: change in price & quantity) are getting captured in the relevant Business Opportunity Line History, as shown below in the screenshot. Information containing under Business Opportunity Line History will be useful when calculating the sales records of sales representatives.

Regards,
Kethaka

Hi @KethakaG

Thank you for the feedback!

Usually, Sales managers will check respective standard IFS CRM lobbies for track sales and business representative’s performance. History changes will not represent in CRM/Sales lobbies, but only opportunity line values.

Is there any workaround solution for this scenario?
