Hi Community!

We get automated errormessages about backgroundjobs in error, on of them is one finance job that fails every weekend “the update could not be performed since the Tax Ledger Item record is currently locked. Please retry the operation. ORA-20113: TaxLedgerItem.FND_LOCKED” With that backgeoundjob number nothing can be found anymore so there have to be some kind of cleanup job that delete that job afterwards. Is there any way to see if that job actually ran succesfully later or what happened to that? Previous and next job can be found but not that one anymore.

Hi,

We have the same issue with the same error message.

Have you find a solution to resolve it?

Thanks for your feedback.

Regards,

Virginie.

Hi @mingram @K4uVirgiM ,

There is a system parameter which declare the number of days to hold the erroneous background jobs in the system

check this value and, change accordingly. also, if you dont want to do that change, you can right click on the failing job and click on “Exclude Cleanup” context menu. this will exclude this job from clean up.

Normally the light clan up job is handling the cleanup process in IFS  which runs every 30 min by default I guess.

Kind Regards!

Niyomal.
