Can we allow Project inventory requirement to be consumed from standard inventory in the absence of PMRP function?
To elaborate more on this, when CO is connected with project (CO line demand code is ‘Project Inventory’) to reserve the line we need to transfer the inventory for project inventory.
Is there an automated way to perform this action without manual transfers?

Please check whether the following helps.
When you connect a CO line to a Project activity, the default Supply Code will be Project Inventory. Change this to Invent Order and hopefully then you will be able to issue from the inventory by then.

As far as I know, transfering of standard inventory to project inventory, in an automated way, is only possbile from PMRP and Project Master Scheduling.
And as you know, first system tries to net projet inventory within the Planned Netting Group itself, and then if it is a remaining net requirement system tries to net from Standard Inventory, and you will end up with a Material Transfer Requistion with a project activity, transfer qty and a required date.
