we did not finalise coding format for Document classes, however I need to start creating some Document classes for our IFS Project . which later will be imported into Production.
Is there any chance to change Document Class codes while migrating? or even at the same database?

Hi Aida,
It will require some effort to create data repair scripts to modify the document class after documents are created if it's in the same database. It will be comparatively easier to change document classes during the data migration even though it's not straight forward.
